Freelance Wedding Designer

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Wedding Designer to conceptualise and develop design concepts for luxury weddings and events. The designer will work closely with the planning and decor teams to translate the client’s vision into a cohesive visual experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop creative concepts and design directions for wedding functions.
- Create moodboards, colour palettes, design references and visual concepts.
- Develop design concepts for decor, stationery, invitations, signage, table setups, guest experiences and event details.
- Work on individual functions such as Mehendi, Haldi, Sangeet, Wedding, Reception, Welcome events, etc.
- Create and present design decks and presentations for client approvals.
- Incorporate client feedback and develop multiple design options wherever required.
- Coordinate with the planning, decor and production teams to ensure the approved concept is practically executable.
- Research new trends, materials, installations, entertainment concepts and styling ideas.
- Source relevant visual references and assist the team in developing customised design elements.
- Ensure consistency across all design touchpoints and maintain a strong overall aesthetic.
- Make revisions within agreed timelines and manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.

Skills Required





- Strong creative sense and understanding of luxury wedding aesthetics.
- Positive knowledge of colour, styling, spatial design and visual composition.
- Proficiency in Canva, PowerPoint and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to create professional and visually appealing presentations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and ability to understand client requirements.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Indian and destination wedding design trends will be an advantage.

Experience

1–3+ years of relevant experience in wedding design, event design, decor, styling, luxury events, interiors or a related creative field.

Engagement

Freelance / Project-Based

The designer will be engaged on a project basis depending on the number and scale of weddings. The role may involve virtual collaboration with the planning and decor teams, with occasional site visits or on-ground support wherever required.

What We’re Looking For

Someone who can bring fresh, thoughtful and distinctive ideas to every wedding rather than simply replicating existing references. Strong conceptual thinking, attention to detail and the ability to turn an idea into an executable wedding design are key to this role.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
