We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Language Editor to support the editing of medical and scientific manuscripts

The role involves improving the language, grammar, clarity, readability, and overall presentation of

manuscripts while ensuring that the author's intended meaning and scientific content are preserved.

The ideal candidate should have strong English language skills, excellent attention to detail, and preferably experience in editing

medical, healthcare, or scientific content.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit medical and scientific manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure.

Improve the clarity, flow, and readability of the content.

Correct errors in tense, articles, prepositions, subject–verb agreement, and word usage.

Ensure consistency in terminology, abbreviations, capitalization, and hyphenation.

Review headings, tables, figure captions, and references for language and consistency.

Raise queries when the author's meaning is unclear.





Avoid making changes that alter the scientific meaning.

Complete assigned files within the required quality standards and turnaround time.

Incorporate QC feedback and maintain consistent editing quality.

Required Skills:

Excellent command of written English.

Strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.

Good understanding of academic and scientific writing.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to edit complex medical content without changing its meaning.

Ability to work within tight deadlines.

Good computer and editorial-tool skills.
