Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Audio Visual (AV) Solution Technical Engineer to manage the implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of up-to-date meeting room and collaboration solutions. The engineer will primarily work with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Logitech Room Solutions, QSC audio systems, and Samsung professional displays.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) solutions.
- Install and configure Logitech meeting room equipment, including:
- Logitech Rally Bar
- Rally Mic Pods
- Tap / Tap IP controllers
- Room scheduling and related peripherals
- Configure and troubleshoot QSC audio systems, including DSP, amplifiers, speakers, microphones, and audio routing.
- Configure and integrate Samsung Professional Displays with AV and Teams Room systems.
- Perform AV equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and handover.
- Configure audio DSP, microphone levels, echo cancellation, audio zones, and speaker outputs.
- Troubleshoot audio/video issues such as:
- Echo and feedback
- Microphone issues
- Speaker/audio distortion
- Camera and video issues
- HDMI/USB connectivity
- Display and resolution issues
- Teams Room device connectivity
- Integrate Teams Rooms with customer network infrastructure and coordinate with network/IT teams for required connectivity.
- Perform Microsoft Teams Rooms device setup, updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting.




- Conduct room testing using Microsoft Teams Room testing tools and ensure the meeting room meets required performance standards.
- Prepare AV drawings, rack layouts, cable schedules, equipment lists, configuration documents, and as-built documentation.
- Perform onsite preventive maintenance and provide technical support to customers.
- Coordinate with OEMs, distributors, project managers, and customer IT teams for issue resolution.
- Conduct user demonstrations and basic end-user training after implementation.
- Support commissioning, UAT, snagging, and final project handover.
- Maintain proper documentation of configurations, IP addresses, device details, firmware versions, and troubleshooting activities.

Networking Knowledge

The candidate should have a good understanding of:

- TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS
- VLANs and basic switching
- Static IP configuration
- PoE
- Basic firewall/network troubleshooting
- Internet connectivity and bandwidth requirements
- USB and network-based AV devices

Preferred Certifications

- Microsoft Teams / Microsoft 365 certifications
- Q-SYS Level 1 / Level 2 certification
- Logitech certification/training

Soft Skills

- Good customer-facing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently at customer sites
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate with project managers, IT teams, and vendors
- Willingness to travel to customer locations within UAE
- Ability to prepare professional technical documentation and reports
