At Lighthouse Communities Foundation, we're looking for an enthusiastic Digital Empowerment Facilitator to help close the digital divide, one learner at a time — building the computer and digital literacy skills that turn hesitant beginners into confident, job-ready young adults.

About the Role
As a Digital Empowerment Facilitator, you'll deliver our Digital Empowerment programme end-to-end at your centre — from the first "how do I turn this on?" to the last "I got the job." Along the way, you'll prepare learners for real employment: sharpening typing speed, demystifying job descriptions, and helping them get essential documentation like PAN cards, Aadhaar, and bank accounts in order. You'll report to the Centre Head.

What You'll Do

- Deliver the Programme: Run the Digital Empowerment programme per schedule and methodology; prepare session materials, maintain a robust learning environment, and hit monthly attendance and participation targets with quality
- Assess & Mentor: Conduct timely student assessments, give individual feedback, and reflect on your training methods to keep improving how you teach
- Prep Youth for Work: Support job readiness — clarifying job descriptions, building typing speed, helping students complete essential documentation, and strengthening their digital competencies
- Track & Report:



Maintain student progress records in our internal MIS (Encore), report training progress to the Course Manager, and capture feedback reels from youth at batch closure
- Champion the Centre: Support outreach and mobilization to bring youth into the programme, help plan events and donor visits, manage the centre's social media, support students creating their own reels and content, run community Digital Wellbeing sessions, and help maintain an active alumni network

What We're Looking For

- Graduate, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience as a computer teacher, IT trainer, or in a similar role
- Hands-on knowledge of Google Apps, MS Office, and e-governance platforms
- Self-driven and motivated, with strong time management and multitasking ability
- Strong people skills, with a genuine orientation toward relationship-building
- Strong verbal and written communication in English and Hindi; regional language a plus
- Digitally proficient and comfortable keeping pace with changing technology
- Believes in the cause — someone who understands why closing the digital divide matters
