Hotel Front Office Receptionist
Location: West Mambalam, Chennai

We are looking for a responsible and well-spoken Front Office Receptionist to join our hotel team. The candidate will be responsible for handling guests, managing front desk activities, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for guests throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out.
- Handle guest enquiries, requests and basic complaints professionally.
- Manage room bookings, guest details and front office records.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest enquiries.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel staff regarding room readiness and guest requirements.
- Handle basic billing, payments and invoices.
- Maintain proper records of guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Ensure the reception and front desk area is organised and professional.

Requirements





- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be comfortable using a computer and basic software.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, email and internet usage.
- Ability to learn hotel booking/property management software.
- Polite, presentable and guest-friendly personality.
- Ability to handle guests calmly and professionally.
- Decent English and Tamil communication is required.
- Responsible, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
- Previous hotel/front office experience is preferred, but candidates willing to learn may also apply.
