Job description:

ABODE School is looking for a passionate and experienced IGCSE Business Studies & Social Science Teacher to teach higher-grade students. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the IGCSE curriculum and be able to deliver engaging, student-centred lessons that develop critical thinking, analytical skills, independent learning, and real-world application.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Business Studies and Social Science as per the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons.
- Develop students' critical thinking, analytical, and application skills.
- Prepare students for IGCSE examinations through case studies, assessments, and exam-oriented practice.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain effective classroom management and collaborate with the academic team.





Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Business Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior Cambridge IGCSE teaching experience preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and creative teaching methodologies.

Experience

- Minimum 2–3 years teaching experience in IGCSE Business Studies and/or social science.
- Experience teaching Cambridge curriculum preferred.
