Job Title: Accounts Executive (Electrical Panel Industry)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts skilled specializing in the electrical manufacturing or engineering sector in India. In this role, you will lead plant-level accounting operations, with a particular focus on project-based costing, raw material inventory tracking (switchgears, copper busbars, enclosures), and strict Indian statutory tax compliance. The ideal candidate ensures flawless financial records, executes precise milestone billings, and manages day-to-day regulatory requirements seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

· GST & Tax Compliance: Oversee monthly GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), execute accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliations via GSTR-2B, and maintain correct HSN mapping (Chapter 85) for electrical components.

· Logistics Compliance: Generate and manage E-Way Bills and E-Invoices for domestic dispatches, ensuring strict adherence to Indian transport regulations and CGST/SGST/IGST rules.

· Project & Product Costing: Calculate accurate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for custom-built electrical panels, factoring in raw material consumption, fabrication labor, and plant overheads.

· Accounts Payable & GRN Matching: Manage vendor payments and process invoices by performing strict 3-way matching between Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Received Notes (GRN), and supplier bills.

· Milestone & Progress Billing: Manage complex client invoicing based on contractual engineering milestones, including design approvals,



stage-wise production, dispatch, and final site commissioning.

· TDS & TCS Management: Ensure accurate deduction and deposit of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and collection of TCS (Tax Collected at Source) under the Income Tax Act, including quarterly return filings.

Required Qualifications & Experience

· Education: B.Com, M.Com, Inter-CA, or Inter-ICWA / CMA.

· Experience: 2 to 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience, explicitly within an electrical panel, switchgear, or heavy transformers enterprise in India.

· Statutory Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Indian tax laws, custom duties on imported electrical components, and industrial plant operations.

Technical Skills & Competencies

· ERP Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime or SAP MM/FI modules for handling manufacturing, inventory, and ledger controls.

· Government Portal Navigation: Hands-on experience working directly on the official GST Portal, E-Way Bill System, and TRACES website.

· Inventory Control: Experience in analyzing Bill of Materials (BOM) variances and conducting monthly physical stock verifications at the plant.
