Project Overview and Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Bilingual engineer(English and Japanese) with semiconductor domain knowledge.

The candidate should have a strong software engineering background and a good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and equipment. The role will involve understanding customer requirements, discussing technical issues, coordinating with the development team, and supporting effective communication between the customer and the engineering team.

Work Experience

Requirements

- Must Have

- 5+ years of working experience in the semiconductor domain and experience with semiconductor equipment software.




- Knowledge of SECS/GEM, GEM300, SEMI standards, or MES integration.
- Should have Semiconductor Fab experience and understanding of Fab automation workflows.
- Candidate should be willing to travel and work onsite outside India as required by the project.
- Programming experience in C or C++ or Java.
- Experience with Linux-based development environments.
- Basic to good knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Good understanding of software development and delivery processes.
- Japanese language: JLPT N3 or higher — Mandatory.
- Good communication and customer-facing skills.

Good to Have

- Experience supporting semiconductor, industrial automation, lithography, deposition, inspection, metrology, or other capital equipment.
- Experience working directly with Japanese customers.

Language Skill

- English – Mandatory
- Japanese – Mandatory N3 or higher
- Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
