Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Core Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Kafka, and Oracle Database. The ideal candidate should have excellent programming and analytical problem-solving skills and be capable of designing, developing, debugging, and maintaining enterprise-level Java applications.

The candidate should be robust in Core Java concepts and comfortable explaining the technical approach, design decisions, and rationale behind solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
- Develop robust and scalable application components using Core Java and Spring MVC.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot application issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Work with Hibernate/JPA for database interaction and ORM implementation.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Apache Kafka where required.
- Work extensively with Oracle Database, including SQL queries, data handling, and performance considerations.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities while addressing complex programming challenges.
- Collaborate with UI, QA, product, and other technical teams to deliver quality solutions.
- Understand existing application architecture and contribute to technical improvements.

3. Spring MVC

- Strong hands-on experience with Spring MVC.
- Understanding of MVC architecture and application development.
- Experience in developing and maintaining web-based Java applications.

4. Hibernate

- Good hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA.
- ORM concepts and database integration.
- Query optimization and transaction management.

5. Kafka

- Working knowledge of Apache Kafka.
- Understanding of producers, consumers, topics, partitions, offsets, and message processing.

6. Oracle Database

- Strong working knowledge of Oracle Database.
- Good SQL skills.
- Experience with complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and database troubleshooting.
- Understanding of database performance and optimization is an advantage.

Good-to-Have Skills

- React JS – basic to good understanding, as the UI layer primarily uses React JS.
- Spring Boot knowledge.
- Understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- REST API development and integration.
- Familiarity with modern Java development practices.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Should be comfortable working on an existing Spring MVC + Hibernate + Oracle + Kafka technology stack.
