Gents Hairdresser / Hair Stylist

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Hairdresser / Hair Stylist to join our salon in Jugsalai, Jamshedpur. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of hair cutting, hair styling, hair colouring, chemical treatments, hair care and colour correction.

The candidate should be confident in handling different hair types and should be able to understand client requirements and provide professional recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform professional haircuts and hairstyles for clients.
- Provide hair colouring services including global colour, root touch-up, highlights, lowlights, balayage and ombre.
- Perform bleaching, toning, colour mixing and colour correction.
- Provide professional hair treatments including keratin, smoothening, straightening, rebonding and hair spa.
- Perform blow-drying, ironing, curling and other hair styling services.
- Assess hair condition and recommend suitable treatments and services.
- Understand different hair textures, types and conditions.
- Provide professional consultation regarding haircuts, colours and treatments.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tools, equipment and workstation.
- Follow proper procedures while handling professional hair chemicals and products.
- Recommend suitable hair-care products to clients when required.




- Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with clients.
- Stay updated with current hair trends, techniques and professional salon services.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of hair cutting and styling techniques.
- Excellent practical knowledge of hair colouring and colour correction.
- Knowledge of colour theory, bleaching and toning.
- Experience with professional hair treatment services.
- Valuable client communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and services.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant salon experience preferred.
- Candidates with strong practical skills in hair colouring and chemical treatments will be preferred.
- Formal salon/hair-styling certification is an advantage but not mandatory if the candidate has strong practical experience.

Salary & Benefits

- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹23,000 per month, depending on experience and skill level.
- Performance-based incentives may be provided.
