About the Role

Anokhi Dhani Resort is looking for a responsible and proactive Marketing & Stock Manager who can independently handle the resort's marketing activities along with complete day-to-day inventory and stock management.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of the local market, vendors, suppliers, pricing, purchasing, and product availability, and should be capable of identifying where quality products and services are available at the most competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

1*. Marketing & Market Development*

- Handle the complete marketing activities of Anokhi Dhani Resort.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, corporate clients, wedding planners, event planners, travel agents, tour operators, and other potential customers.
- Identify new business opportunities for the resort, including weddings, events, parties, corporate functions, group bookings, and other revenue-generating activities.
- Conduct regular market visits and keep updated with current market trends, pricing, offers, and competitor activities.
- Identify the best vendors, suppliers, products, and services available in the market at competitive prices.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best possible rates and terms.
- Maintain a proper database of vendors, suppliers, clients, and business contacts.
- Support the management in increasing bookings, sales, and overall business opportunities.

2. Stock & Inventory Management

- Maintain daily stock records of every item used by the resort.
- Maintain:
- Opening Balance
- Purchases/Incoming Stock
- Total Available Stock




- Daily Consumption/Issue
- Closing Balance
- Update stock records every day without fail.
- Maintain item-wise stock registers and ensure accurate physical stock.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and match it with the records.
- Identify shortages, excess stock, wastage, damages, or discrepancies and report them to management immediately.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and inform management about items that need to be purchased.
- Coordinate with purchase/vendors for timely procurement.
- Ensure unnecessary purchases and wastage are minimized.
- Maintain proper records of purchase quantities, rates, suppliers, and dates.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all stock items.

3. Purchasing & Vendor Management

- Research the market regularly to compare prices from different suppliers.
- Find the best quality products at the lowest reasonable market price.
- Obtain quotations/rates from multiple vendors whenever required.
- Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers.
- Maintain a supplier-wise purchase history.
- Ensure purchases are made according to actual resort requirements and approved budgets.
- Develop reliable vendor relationships for regular supplies.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Strong knowledge of the local market and suppliers.
- Good understanding of product pricing and market rates.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.




- Good knowledge of purchasing and vendor management.
- Excellent inventory and stock-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets or inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain daily records and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
- Hospitality, resort, hotel, event, or restaurant experience will be an advantage.
- Ability to identify new marketing and business opportunities.

Daily Reporting

The candidate will be responsible for providing regular updates to management regarding:

- Daily marketing activities
- New leads and business opportunities
- Client follow-ups
- Vendor visits and negotiations
- Purchases made
- Opening stock
- Incoming/purchased stock
- Consumption/issues
- Closing stock
- Stock shortages or discrepancies
- Items requiring immediate purchase
- Market price changes
