Floor Supervisor – Production

Job Summary

We are looking for a Floor Supervisor with a Mechanical background to supervise day-to-day production floor activities and operators.

The candidate should be hands-on, disciplined and capable of handling operators and ensuring smooth production activities on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise operators and workers on the production floor.
- Allocate daily work to operators as per production requirements.
- Monitor production activities and ensure work is completed on time.
- Check availability of material, tools and components required for production.
- Coordinate with the concerned team in case of machine, material or quality issues.
- Ensure operators follow work instructions and production processes.
- Monitor basic quality, rejection and rework on the floor.
- Maintain daily production and manpower records.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, 5S and safety practices.




- Report daily production status and floor-related issues to the senior/Production team.

Required Skills

- Mechanical/engineering manufacturing background.
- Experience in handling operators and shop-floor activities.
- Basic understanding of mechanical production processes.
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings will be preferred.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of 5S, quality and safety.
- Hands-on approach and willingness to work on the production floor.

Eligibility

- 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering company.
- Diploma / ITI / Mechanical qualification preferred.
- Candidates with experience as Senior Operator / Line Leader / Production Supervisor / Shop Floor Supervisor can apply.

Salary: ₹25,000–₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
