Key responsibilities :

- Strategic Production Planning
- Own the master production schedule (MPS) across all machines/lines based on sales forecasts, order book, and customer priorities
- Develop capacity planning strategies (short, medium, and long-term) to align production capability with demand
- Drive S&OP; (Sales & Operations Planning) discussions with sales, procurement, and manufacturing leadership
- Approve and finalize daily/weekly/monthly production plans prepared by the PPC team

Team Leadership & Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage the PPC team (PPC engineers, schedulers, planners)
- Set KPIs/targets for the team and conduct performance reviews
- Build planning capability and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the department
- Train team members on ERP/MRP systems and best planning practices

Capacity & Resource Optimization

- Optimize machine/line allocation (extruders, gravure/flexo presses, lamination, slitting, pouching lines) to maximize OEE and minimize changeovers
- Identify capacity bottlenecks and recommend debottlenecking or investment plans
- Balance load across shifts and lines to meet peak demand without overtime/cost escalation

Material & Inventory Strategy

- Oversee raw material planning (PE, PP, BOPP, PET, CPP films, inks, adhesives, solvents) in coordination with procurement
- Set inventory norms for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to balance service levels and working capital
- Review and approve BOM-based material requirement plans for major/complex orders

Order & Delivery Performance

- Own OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) delivery performance as a key business metric
- Resolve escalations related to delayed orders, capacity conflicts, or material shortages




- Represent PPC in customer/sales review meetings for large or critical accounts
- Drive corrective/preventive actions for chronic delivery or scheduling issues

Process Improvement & Analytics

- Monitor plant-wide OEE, machine utilization, downtime, and wastage trends
- Drive Lean/TPM/Six Sigma initiatives to improve planning accuracy and reduce changeover/wastage
- Implement or improve ERP/MRP/APS (Advanced Planning System) tools for better forecasting and scheduling
- Present MIS/dashboards on planning KPIs to senior management

Cross-Functional Leadership

- Align with Design/Prepress on artwork, cylinder, and plate readiness timelines
- Coordinate with Maintenance on preventive maintenance planning without disrupting production commitments
- Work with Quality to align inspection/release schedules with dispatch timelines
- Liaise with Finance on inventory valuation, working capital, and cost impact of planning decisions

The company will provide the following benefits to the selected candidate:

- Total Relocation Allowance: USD 500 per month, as an estimated relocation support amount provided by the company.
- Food Allowance: USD 250 per month.
- Rent/Accommodation Allowance: USD 250 per month. The candidate's eligible rent/accommodation expenses will be covered by the company.

- Air Ticket: The company will bear the cost of the candidate's air ticket for travel/joining to Ghana
