About the Role

Fluent Feed is looking for a creative Video Editor Intern who can help us create engaging short-form content for Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and other social platforms.

You'll work closely with the founder and content team to turn ideas, scripts, and raw footage into engaging videos that are visually appealing and easy to consume.

We're looking for someone who understands that good editing is not just about cuts and transitions — it's about hook, pacing, storytelling, and keeping the viewer engaged.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos, reels, and social media content.
- Edit talking-head, educational, promotional, and product videos.
- Add captions, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, music, and visual elements.
- Create solid hooks and maintain engaging pacing throughout the video.
- Turn raw footage and scripts into polished final videos.
- Adapt content for different social media platforms and formats.
- Experiment with different editing styles, trends, hooks, and storytelling techniques.
- Maintain consistency with Fluent Feed's visual identity.
- Work with the founder and content team to understand concepts and implement feedback.
- Research current short-form content trends and suggest new video ideas.

Requirements

- Good understanding of video editing and short-form content.
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, typography, and visual composition.
- Creativity and willingness to experiment.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to take feedback and make revisions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.




- Portfolio or previous editing work is preferred.

Freshers are welcome to apply. Skills and portfolio matter more than qualifications.

Tools

Experience with any of the following:

- CapCut
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- Canva
- Other video editing or motion graphics tools

You don't need to know every tool. We're primarily interested in the quality of your work and your creative thinking.

Good to Have

- Experience creating Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.
- Basic motion graphics skills.
- Experience editing talking-head videos.
- Understanding of social media trends.
- Experience with AI video/image generation tools.
- Basic thumbnail or graphic design skills.
- Understanding of content hooks and audience retention.
