Hospital is 900 beds NABH Accredited, Multi-super Specialty State of the art hospital. Associated with Symbiosis Medical College for Women

Position- Head Pharmacy

Requirement of Qualification and experience :

- Bachelor in Pharmacy. MBA in Healthcare Administration / Supply Chain / Logistics Management
- Minimum 20+ years in the Pharmacy department of large hospitals. At least 5 years in a similar role in minimum 250 bedded hospital. Experience in Medical College associated hospital will be an added advantage.

Some of the Important Duties and responsibilities-

- Responsible for function /Co-ordination; control of all pharmacy services.
- Purchase/procurement activities: Planning; procurement of materials at suitable rate/as per approved rate contract by central purchase team, for continuous supply at optimum inventory, vendor development.
- Strategic planning:
- Develop strategies; plans to support the procurement & inventory management of assigned commodities, continual analysis & review of operational process mapping right process.
- Ensuring availability of medicines, drugs, surgical items/ consumables and consignment items in stock all the time. Effectively monitor the stock based on the consumptions.
- Co-ordinate with Doctors/Consultants
- Ensuring return of near expiry medicines, drugs etc.
- Develop, approve,



interpret enforce department polices & procedures to achieve service objective.
- Assure compliance with standards of practice from accreditation organization (e.g.: NABH) compliance with all legal; regulatory requirement for pharmacy services.
- Develop maintain a system and program of continuous quality improvement.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare, monitor and administer the pharmacy services personnel budget, including benefits.
- Seek innovative ways to reduce contain costs while providing quality care.
- Staff Management:
- Supervise staffing levels, recruitment, training, grievances, discipline and performance evaluations of staff under control, as per HR policies & procedures.
- Manage staff assignments, shifts, and schedules to ensure adequate coverage and effective workflow.
- Coordinate activities serve as secretary of Pharmaco-therapeutic committee.
- Coordinate Internal and external audits and ensure compliance withapplicable regulatory standards and reporting requirements.
- Data/MIS Reporting: Preparation and submission of various MIS reports and data required by the Management from time to time.
- Any other responsibility entrusted by Dean & Medical Superintendent and any other regulatory higher authorities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
