Ambis Kennel Pvt Ltd is a chemical trading and export company based in India. We source chemical products from Indian manufacturers and suppliers and supply them to international customers across different markets.

We are looking for an experienced Procurement/Purchase Specialist – Chemicals who can independently identify reliable Indian suppliers, obtain competitive prices, negotiate commercial terms, and coordinate the procurement process for chemical products.

Key Responsibilities

- Source bulk liquid chemicals and other chemical products from Indian manufacturers, distributors and suppliers.
- Identify and develop relationships with reliable chemical suppliers.
- Search for new suppliers based on specific product requirements, specifications and quantities.
- Obtain and compare quotations, pricing, MOQ, lead time, payment terms and delivery terms.
- Negotiate competitive prices and commercial conditions with suppliers.
- Obtain and verify technical documents such as:
- COA
- TDS
- SDS/MSDS
- Product specifications
- Packing details
- Manufacturing/retest/expiry information, where applicable
- Understand customer requirements and identify suitable Indian sources.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding samples, quality specifications, packaging and availability.
- Maintain a supplier database with product, pricing, contact and commercial information.
- Follow up with suppliers until the procurement requirement is completed.
- Identify alternative suppliers when the required product, price or specifications are not available.
- Coordinate with the internal team regarding procurement status and supplier information.




- Support the company in developing a reliable network of chemical suppliers across India.

Required Experience & Skills

- Prior experience in chemical procurement/sourcing is essential.
- Experience in bulk liquid chemical procurement is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of chemical products and Indian chemical manufacturers/suppliers.
- Experience dealing with chemical manufacturers, distributors, traders or wholesalers.
- Strong supplier identification and negotiation skills.
- Ability to independently search for suppliers and obtain quotations.
- Ability to understand basic chemical specifications, grades, purity, CAS numbers and technical documents.
- Good commercial understanding of chemical procurement.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple procurement requirements simultaneously.
- Existing supplier contacts/network in the Indian chemical industry will be an advantage.

Compensation

Commission-based engagement.

The selected candidate will be compensated based on successfully completed procurement/sourcing assignments. The commission structure will be discussed and finalized based on experience and responsibilities.

This opportunity may be suitable for an experienced chemical procurement professional, sourcing consultant, freelance procurement specialist, or industry professional with an established supplier network who prefers a performance-based engagement.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who can independently take a product requirement, identify suitable suppliers, obtain competitive offers, negotiate with suppliers and provide a complete procurement solution.

Candidates with an established network of Indian chemical manufacturers and suppliers are particularly encouraged to apply.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
