Admission Counsellor

Job Purpose
To manage the complete admission counselling process, from enquiry and lead follow-up to registration and final admission, while providing parents with accurate information about the school and creating a positive admission experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead & Enquiry Management
- Handle enquiries received through walk-ins, phone calls, digital leads, references, events, and other sources.
- Make timely follow-up calls and maintain regular communication with prospective parents.
- Update all enquiry and follow-up details accurately in ERP/CRM.
- Ensure no lead remains unattended or without a defined next action.
- Maintain proper records of enquiry, registration, admission, source, class, and follow-up status.
2. Parent Counselling
- Understand the parent's requirements and guide them regarding the appropriate class, curriculum, facilities, fee structure, transport, activities, and admission process.
- Conduct structured and engaging counselling sessions.
- Handle parent questions and objections professionally.
- Build trust and maintain a positive relationship with prospective parents.
3. School Tour & Presentation
- Conduct school tours for prospective parents.
- Explain the school's academic, co-curricular, sports, safety, infrastructure, and other key USPs.
- Coordinate with relevant departments when parents require additional information.
4. Conversion & Admission Closure
- Follow up with prospective parents at different stages of the admission funnel.
- Drive enquiries towards registration and registration towards admission.
- Identify reasons for non-conversion and take appropriate follow-up actions.
- Support parents through entrance test, result, documentation, fee payment, and admission completion.
- Meet monthly and session-wise admission targets.
5. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain daily records of enquiries, calls, walk-ins, registrations, admissions, and pending follow-ups.
- Update ERP/CRM on a daily basis.
- Submit daily/weekly admission reports to the Admission Head.
- Ensure accuracy of data and avoid duplicate or incomplete records.
- Track source-wise and class-wise conversion.
6. Coordination
- Coordinate with PRO, Telecaller, Principal, Academics, Accounts, Transport, Administration, and other departments for smooth admission processing.
- Coordinate with the HO Admission Team for digital leads and follow-ups.
- Ensure proper handover and tracking of leads received from different sources.
7. Parent Engagement
- Maintain regular communication with prospective parents through calls, WhatsApp, messages, and meetings.
- Share relevant school information, admission updates, events, offers, and deadlines.
- Build long-term parent relationships and encourage referrals.

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; preferably in Education, Management, Psychology, Sales or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in school admissions, education counselling, sales, customer relationship management, or a similar role.
- Experience in a school/education environment will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
