Position description: Jindal Stainless Limited is seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage the Digital & IT department within the Mining & Metals industry. We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant with 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in the design, implementation, support, and enhancement of SAP Ariba solutions. The candidate should possess strong functional expertise in Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes and hands-on experience in SAP Ariba modules including Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, and Ariba Network integration with SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA.

The role involves engaging with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, configuring SAP Ariba solutions, conducting testing, supporting deployments, and providing post-go-live support.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Lead SAP Ariba implementation, rollout, and support projects.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Configure and support SAP Ariba modules including:
- Buying and Invoicing (B&I;)
- Sourcing
- Contracts Management
- Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP)
- Supplier Risk
- Ariba Network
- Guided Buying

- Design and support SAP Ariba integration with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Perform requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for custom developments.
- Execute Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and support business users during testing cycles.
- Manage master data and supplier onboarding processes.




- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Conduct end-user training and prepare user documentation.
- Participate in cutover planning, go-live support, and hypercare activities.
- Work closely with procurement, finance, supply chain, and business stakeholders.

Required work experience

- Years of experience:

- Certifications in SAP Ariba Procurement, Sourcing, or Integration will be an added advantage.
- Robust stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of procurement and supply chain business processes.

Preferred Experience

- Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP Ariba implementation projects.
- Experience in global rollout and support engagements.
- Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA integration projects.
- Experience in manufacturing, mining, metals, steel, or process industries will be an added advantage.
