We are looking for experienced W2 Recruiters / OPT Recruiters with strong experience in US IT Staffing to join our team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to source, screen, and hire qualified IT consultants on W2 and build a strong internal consultant bench that can be marketed by our Sales/Business Development team to suitable client opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source and recruit IT professionals who are available for W2 employment
- Build and maintain a strong internal pool of W2 IT consultants
- Focus on candidates who are already available in the U.S. and open to contract opportunities
- Recruit candidates across various IT technologies and skill sets
- Target candidates with H-1B transfer/change-of-employer eligibility, U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and OPT/STEM OPT candidates, as applicable to company hiring requirements
- Conduct initial screening to understand technical skills, experience, location, availability, work authorization, and compensation expectations
- Clearly explain W2 employment, contract terms, pay structure, and available opportunities to candidates
- Negotiate W2 pay rates within company guidelines
- Collect and verify required candidate information and documentation during the hiring process




- Maintain an updated database of W2 consultants based on technology, experience, location, availability, and work authorization
- Build long-term relationships with consultants and keep them engaged while they are on the internal bench
- Coordinate candidate interviews and availability with the Sales/Business Development team
- Provide qualified, genuine, and market-ready consultant profiles to the Sales team
- Regularly follow up with consultants to confirm continued availability and interest
- Work toward monthly hiring and bench-building targets

Required Skills & Experience

- 2–5+ years of experience in US IT Staffing / US IT Recruitment
- Prior experience as a W2 Recruiter / OPT Recruiter is highly preferred
- Strong experience sourcing IT consultants for W2 employment
- Good understanding of U.S. IT staffing and contract hiring
- Strong knowledge of LinkedIn, Dice, indeed, job boards, Boolean search, and other sourcing channels
- Understanding of common U.S. work authorization categories
- Strong candidate screening and qualification skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Strong follow-up and candidate relationship management
- Ability to work independently and achieve hiring targets
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced US staffing environment
