DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes / GCP / Jenkins

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with solid hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD, and GCP. The candidate should have experience managing containerized applications, cloud infrastructure, production environments, and modern observability tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools.
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications on Kubernetes, preferably GKE.
- Build and maintain infrastructure and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement and manage Istio / Service Mesh for microservices environments.
- Configure monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and observability using Google Cloud Monitoring and New Relic.
- Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and production reliability metrics.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Work closely with development teams to improve deployment and release processes.
- Implement best practices for security, scalability, reliability, and cloud cost optimization.

Required Skills





- 5+ years of DevOps experience (4.8+ years may be considered for strong candidates).
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployments, cluster management, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Strong expertise in Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good hands-on experience with GCP, particularly GKE, IAM, VPC, and Cloud Monitoring.
- Working knowledge of Istio / Service Mesh.
- Experience with New Relic or similar observability platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization.
- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Good scripting knowledge in Bash, Shell, or Python.
- Understanding of Git and Git-based workflows.

Good to Have

- Experience with AWS and/or multi-cloud environments.
- Exposure to ArgoCD / GitOps.
- Knowledge of Helm charts.
- Experience with ELK, Loki, or GCP Logging.
- Understanding of IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and Vault.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Exposure to cloud cost optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- CKA/CKAD or GCP certifications are an advantage.
- Experience working in high-scale production environments.

Pay: Up to ₹1,300,000.00 per year
