Freelance Auditor – Job Description

Position: Freelance Auditor
Employment Type: Freelance / Part-Time / Contract
Experience: 6 to 10 years preferred

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Auditor to independently review financial records, accounting transactions, statutory compliance, and internal processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and verify books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and financial transactions.
- Conduct internal and financial audits as required.
- Verify GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance records.
- Check bank reconciliations, cash transactions, expenses, and supporting documents.
- Identify accounting errors, discrepancies, control gaps, and potential risks.
- Review financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards and applicable laws.




- Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations.
- Coordinate with the accounts and finance team for clarification and corrective actions.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.

Requirements:

- CA / CMA / M.Com / B.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant audit/accounting experience.
- Robust knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, accounting, and audit procedures.
- Experience with Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Good analytical and reporting skills
- Prior experience in construction/real estate industry will be an advantage.

Every month 5th to 10 th need to come to our office to do the internal audit

Location: Chennai, Sholinganallur

Pay: ₹10,241.41 - ₹53,817.73 per month
