Job Summary

SPD Constructions Limited is looking for a Jr. Engineer – QA/QC with 3–5 years of experience in high-rise building or industrial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for supporting quality assurance and quality control activities at project sites, ensuring compliance with approved specifications, method statements, ITPs, QCPs, ISO standards, and project quality requirements.

The role involves site inspections, quality documentation, NCR/CAR management, audits, testing coordination, document control, and coordination with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and third-party agencies.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure construction and QC activities comply with approved method statements, technical specifications, drawings, ITPs, QCPs, and applicable ISO standards.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the Project Quality Management System (QMS) at site.
- Prepare, maintain, and control project quality documentation, inspection records, test reports, and quality registers.
- Conduct and coordinate site inspections, testing, and quality checks as per approved ITPs and project requirements.
- Monitor site compliance with established quality control procedures and document control systems.

Experience

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC within:




- High-Rise Building Construction
- Residential/Commercial Building Projects
- Industrial Construction Projects
- Candidates with hands-on experience in site quality control, inspections, testing, NCR/CAR management, and quality documentation will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures and construction quality standards.
- Working knowledge of ITP, QCP, Method Statements, NCR, CAR, RCA and CAPA.
- Familiarity with ISO/QMS requirements and construction quality documentation.
- Positive understanding of civil construction activities, materials, inspection procedures, and testing requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD and MS Project.
- Good documentation, reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.

- Candidates with hands-on experience in site quality control, inspections, testing, NCR/CAR management, and quality documentation will be preferred.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Control Plans (QCPs), checklists, and quality procedures.
- Raise, process, monitor, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).




- Assist in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and monitoring Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with the Project QA/QC Manager for timely submission of quality reports, inspection reports, audit findings, and other quality documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of material inspections, laboratory test reports, site inspections, approvals, and quality-related documentation.
- Assist in conducting internal quality audits and prepare audit reports, including tracking corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate inspections with client representatives, consultants, third-party laboratories, and subcontractors.
- Ensure testing and quality record-keeping requirements under the contract are properly followed.
- Assist in evaluating subcontractors and vendors for compliance with project quality requirements.
- Support the proper compilation and timely handover of quality dossiers, inspection records, test reports, and as-built documentation.
- Assist in maintaining field document control for construction drawings, specifications, vendor documents, test reports, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare QA/QC statistics, MIS reports, and quality metrics for project management.
- Support the QA/QC Manager in identifying quality issues and implementing appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide guidance to site teams on quality requirements and promote a strong quality-focused work culture.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
