Two Separate Openings

- Crazy Yogi Vlogs: Personal vlogs, YouTube videos, Instagram Reels and other personal-brand content
- Sampoorna Yoga: Social-media content, promotional videos, educational content, Reels and long-form videos for Sampoorna Yoga

Key Details

- Base professional fee: ₹45,000 per month, can go upto 70,000 per month
- Minimum weekly output: Four approved Reels and two approved long-form video
- Higher earning potential: Exceptional performers may eventually earn considerably more—even up to twice the base fee—after proving their quality, speed, reliability, accuracy and output
- Meals: Three complimentary vegetarian meals, tea and coffee are available on-site during regular timings
- Accommodation: Not provided; candidates must arrange and pay for their own accommodation
- Transport: Not provided; candidates must manage their own local transportation
- Working arrangement: Full-time, on-site and exclusive
- Schedule: Six working days per week. We generally operate between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., but working hours are flexible from both sides. You may organise your editing schedule according to when you work best—including evenings or nights—provided that all agreed work is completed on time, quality standards are maintained, and you remain available for essential meetings, communication and production requirements.
- Probation: Two months
- Engagement: Contractual/service-provider arrangement governed by a written agreement
- Freelancing or secondary work: No part-time work, freelancing, undisclosed assignments or conflicting outside commitments
- Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure: All footage, content, project files, editing methods, creative concepts, business information and unpublished material belonging to Sampoorna Yoga or Crazy Yogi must remain strictly confidential. They may not be copied, shared, transferred, published, reused or disclosed to any third party—or used in a personal portfolio—without prior written permission. All materials and final outputs will remain the exclusive property of Sampoorna Yoga.

About the Role

We are not looking for someone who simply knows how to operate editing software.

We are looking for a pure editor with the mindset of a content creator and post-producer—someone who understands modern social media, stays updated with trends and can independently turn raw footage and ideas into relevant, engaging and platform-appropriate content.

You should not need to be told which trend is currently working, where to find suitable music, how to create a strong hook, what makes an effective thumbnail or how content should be adapted for different platforms.

You must be capable of researching these things independently, contributing ideas and taking complete ownership of the post-production process.

This Is Not a Videographer Position

Please do not apply if your primary expertise is videography, cinematography or camera operation and editing is only your secondary skill. If it is later discovered that you misrepresented your editing skills or presented yourself as a professional editor primarily to secure the position, this will be treated as material misrepresentation and may result in immediate termination of the contract.

What We Expect

You should:

- Be genuinely interested in YouTube, Instagram and modern digital content
- Remain consistently updated on editing trends, audience behaviour and platform changes
- Understand hooks, storytelling, pacing, viewer retention and pattern interruption
- Know how to identify the strongest moments within raw footage
- Remove unnecessary, repetitive or low-value footage without being instructed
- Understand captions, memes, graphics, transitions, sound effects and music selection
- Know how to repurpose suitable long-form footage into short-form content
- Understand the fundamentals of titles, thumbnails, descriptions, hashtags and content packaging
- Understand that different social-media platforms require different formats and approaches
- Know how to source royalty-free or properly licensed music, footage, graphics and other assets
- Know when and how licensing credits or links must be included when publishing content
- Understand how to use AI tools effectively for thumbnails, graphics, concepts, research and other post-production requirements
- Verify the quality, accuracy, licensing and suitability of AI-generated material before using it
- Contribute creative ideas rather than waiting for detailed instructions
- Communicate clearly and provide progress updates without being chased
- Maintain organised project files, raw footage, exports and backups
- Meet deadlines consistently and take responsibility for the final result

Primary Responsibilities

- Edit a minimum of four high-quality Reels or short-form videos per week
- Edit a minimum of two long-form video per week, generally around 8–12 minutes




- Create compelling openings and hooks
- Add appropriate captions, graphics, music, sound effects and creative elements
- Repurpose suitable footage across multiple platforms
- Research trends and suggest relevant content ideas and formats
- Create or support the creation of thumbnails
- Assist with titles, descriptions, hashtags and platform-specific packaging
- Use AI tools intelligently where they improve efficiency or creative quality
- Ensure that music, footage, graphics and third-party assets are properly licensed and credited
- Maintain a consistent editing identity for the assigned brand
- Complete revisions promptly
- Deliver final files in the required formats and keep project folders properly organised

Quality Comes Before Quantity

The base requirement is four Reels and one long-form video per week. However, merely exporting the required number of videos will not be treated as successful completion.

A deliverable will be considered completed only when it meets the agreed standards of:

- Editing quality
- Storytelling
- Audience relevance
- Accuracy
- Platform suitability
- Timeliness
- Technical quality
- Proper licensing and credits

Rushed, generic, repetitive or poorly edited content created merely to reach a numerical target will not be accepted.

Professional Fee and Growth

The starting professional fee is ₹45,000 per month.

This includes the minimum expectation of:

- Four approved Reels per week
- Two approved long-form video per week
- Required thumbnails and basic content packaging
- Timely revisions and organised project delivery

There is a genuine possibility of substantially higher income based on proven performance.

The professional fee may be reviewed and increased based on:

- Consistently high editing quality
- Speed without compromising quality
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to produce a higher volume of approved content
- Creative contribution
- Reliability and punctuality
- Independent problem-solving
- Ownership and accountability
- Positive content performance over time

An exceptional candidate who consistently creates excellent content and takes genuine ownership of the role may eventually earn considerably more—even up to twice the starting professional fee.

Higher compensation will not be awarded merely because someone claims to be senior or has worked for many years. It must be earned through demonstrated results.

Accountability and Work Culture

In our previous experience, many editors have required constant supervision, repeated reminders and continuous chasing before completing their work.

We are specifically trying to avoid that pattern.

Please do not apply if you:

- Need repeated reminders to complete agreed work
- Frequently miss deadlines
- Disappear without communicating
- Wait to be instructed at every stage
- Work only when someone is supervising you
- Make promises during recruitment that you cannot consistently fulfil
- Are mainly attracted by the Goa location rather than the work
- Want a relaxed lifestyle instead of a demanding creative position
- Produce rushed or generic work simply to complete a target

If a pattern of inefficiency, missed deadlines, lack of communication or lack of ownership becomes evident, the engagement may be concluded quickly in accordance with the written agreement and applicable law.

Working Schedule

- This is a full time, on-site position
- Six working days per week
- Work will generally be scheduled around 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Working hours may change according to production requirements, deadlines and publishing schedules
- Complete flexibility will sometimes be required
- The role is output- and deadline-oriented, not merely attendance-oriented
- One weekly day off will be scheduled, but weekly deliverables must remain on track and agreed deadlines must still be honoured
- Missing work does not automatically carry forward or disappear at the end of the week
- Additional effort may be required when delays are caused by the editor’s own inefficiency, lack of planning or missed deadlines

Exclusivity

This is an exclusive, full-time engagement.

During the engagement, the selected candidate may not undertake:

- Freelance editing work
- Part-time employment
- Undisclosed paid assignments
- Regular personal-client work
- Any outside commitment that competes with or negatively affects this role

Any exception must receive prior written approval from Sampoorna Yoga.

Accommodation and Transportation





Accommodation is not provided.

The selected candidate will be entirely responsible for finding, arranging and paying for their own accommodation in or near Agonda.

Sampoorna Yoga will not provide:

- Accommodation
- Accommodation allowance
- Scooter or motorbike
- Fuel allowance
- Daily pick-up or drop-off
- Any other local transportation

The candidate must know how to ride a scooter or motorbike safely and must possess a valid driving licence. Please do not apply if you cannot independently manage your daily transportation in Goa.

Meals and On-Site Facilities

The selected candidate may have the following complimentary on-site benefits during regular operating hours:

Meals are provided according to Sampoorna Yoga’s regular menu and meal timings. No cash alternative or separate food allowance will be provided.

Access to selected Sampoorna Yoga facilities may also be available according to internal rules and operational availability.

Equipment and Software

Strong working knowledge of one or more of the following is required:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Final Cut Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- After Effects or equivalent motion-graphics software
- Photoshop, Canva or other thumbnail-design tools
- Relevant AI tools for thumbnails, graphics, ideation and post-production

Candidates who already own a professional editing computer or laptop capable of handling high-resolution footage will be strongly preferred.

Substance and Professional-Conduct Policy

This is a substance-free professional environment.

Please do not apply if you regularly use illegal or recreational drugs, or if substance use is part of your lifestyle.

Possessing, consuming or reporting to work under the influence of illegal or recreational drugs on or around the workplace will be treated as serious misconduct and may result in immediate termination of the engagement, subject to the written agreement and applicable law.

Alcohol must never affect attendance, punctuality, behaviour, communication or work performance.

Professional behaviour, personal hygiene, respectful communication and reliability are essential.

Probation and Continuation

The first two months will be treated as a probationary and performance-evaluation period.

During this period, we will assess:

- Editing quality
- Speed and accuracy
- Reliability
- Communication
- Ability to meet weekly targets
- Creative contribution
- Ability to work independently
- Organisation of files and projects
- Response to feedback
- Overall professional attitude

If the candidate does not demonstrate the required standard during probation, the engagement may be concluded with up to one week’s notice or payment in lieu, subject to the written agreement and applicable law.

Serious misconduct, dishonesty, substance-related violations or material breaches of trust may result in immediate termination, subject to the agreement and applicable law.

No performance bonus, severance package or additional compensation will be payable beyond earned and legally payable amounts unless expressly stated in the written agreement.

Nature of Engagement

This position is intended as a contractual, service-provider engagement and will be governed by a written service agreement.

The final agreement will define the scope of services, professional fee, confidentiality, intellectual-property ownership, exclusivity, probation, termination, notice and all other applicable terms.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical editing test using footage provided by us.

The test may include:

- Editing one short-form Reel
- Creating a strong opening hook
- Demonstrating pacing, captions, music selection and storytelling
- Suggesting a title and thumbnail concept
- Using AI tools appropriately where useful
- Explaining the reasoning behind key creative decisions

Selection and starting compensation will be based primarily on the portfolio and practical test—not merely qualifications, seniority or interview promises.
