Work Experience: 10–15 Years in Stores / Warehouse Operations, preferably in Pharmaceutical Packaging / Medical Device / Manufacturing Industry

Education: Graduate / Diploma in Material Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field. MBA / PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Candidate with strong experience in Stores Management, Inventory Control, Material Handling, ERP and Team Management. Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.

Job Purpose To effectively manage the Stores function of . by ensuring timely receipt, identification, inspection coordination, storage, preservation, issue and reconciliation of Raw Materials, Packing Materials, Consumables, Engineering Materials and Finished Goods. The role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, material traceability, proper storage conditions, FIFO/FEFO, system accuracy, documentation, 5S and compliance with company SOPs and applicable quality requirements. The position will also ensure uninterrupted material availability to Production while maintaining optimum inventory levels and minimizing material loss, damage and variance.Major Duties &Responsibilities;: · Manage day-to-day Stores operations and ensure smooth functioning of the Stores department. · Ensure proper receipt, identification, verification, storage and issue of materials. · Verify incoming materials against PO, Delivery Challan, quantity, specification and applicable documents. · Coordinate with QA for inspection, sampling and material release. · Ensure proper identification and status labelling of materials. · Maintain segregation of Approved, Quarantine, Rejected and Hold materials. · Ensure material is stored only in designated locations. · Maintain complete material traceability from receipt to final consumption. · Ensure timely issue of materials to Production and other departments against authorized documents. · Maintain accurate physical and system inventory. · Conduct periodic physical stock verification and cycle counting. · Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies. · Monitor minimum, maximum and reorder levels. · Identify and report slow-moving, non-moving, excess and obsoleteinventory. · Monitor material shortage, damage, leakage, expiry and deterioration. · Ensure FIFO / FEFO wherever applicable. · Coordinate with Purchase, PPC, Production, QA and Finance for inventory-related issues. · Ensure timely availability of Raw Materials, Packing Materials and Consumables for Production. · Coordinate with PPC regarding production requirements and material availability. · Review material requirements against Work Orders / BOM. · Ensure timely and accurate material issue to Production.



· Monitor material returns from Production and ensure proper system entry and physical reconciliation. · Monitor material consumption against approved requirements. · Escalate material shortages that may affect production schedules. · Ensure timely and accurate daily entries for: o Material Receipt o GRN o Material Issue o Material Return o Stock Transfer o Stock Adjustment o Reconciliation · Ensure all Stores documents are complete, accurate and traceable. · Maintain proper records of Delivery Challans, GRNs, Material Issue Slips, Stock Transfer Notes and other Stores documents. · Ensure no unauthorized or backdated documentation is processed. · Coordinate with Finance / Accounts for GRN and invoice discrepancies. · Ensure complete batch / lot-wise material traceability. · Ensure proper identification and status of all materials. · Ensure materials are issued according to approved procedures. · Prevent mixing of different batches / lots wherever applicable. · Ensure expired or rejected materials are properly identified and segregated. · Support QA during material reconciliation, investigations and audits. · Maintain Stores records required for ISO / GMP / customer audits. · Ensure compliance with applicable BRW SOPs and quality procedures. · Ensure systematic storage and location-wise arrangement of materials. · Maintain proper stacking and storage practices. · Ensure proper utilization of available storage space. · Ensure safe movement and handling of materials. · Monitor housekeeping and 5S in all Stores areas. · Ensure aisles, emergency exits and material movement areas remain transparent. · Prevent material damage due to improper storage or handling. · Supervise and guide Store Executives, Store Assistants, Helpers and other Stores personnel. · Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor work completion. · Monitor attendance, discipline and productivity of Stores employees. · Conduct on-the-job training related to Stores SOPs, material handling, 5S and safety. · Ensure proper shift handover.· Develop team capabilities and improve Stores efficiency. · Support internal, customer and external audits. · Ensure timely closure of Stores-related audit observations. · Maintain required Stores records and supporting documents. · Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP and company procedures applicable to Stores. · Maintain readiness of Stores for customer and regulatory inspections. · Participate in CAPA / investigation activities related to Stores wherever required. · Ensure protected handling, stacking and movement of materials.



· Ensure proper use of PPE by Stores personnel. · Ensure safe operation of material-handling equipment. · Report unsafe conditions, accidents and material damage immediately. · Ensure proper storage of chemicals and other controlled materials as applicable. · Maintain clean and safe working conditions. · Prepare and submit regular Stores reports to management, including: o Daily Stock Status o Material Availability o Inventory Accuracy o Stock Variance o Material Shortage o Slow / Non-Moving Inventory o Material Damage o GRN Pending Status o Material Issue Status o Physical Stock Verification o FIFO / FEFO Compliance o Stores 5S Status o Audit Observation Status
