We are looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher who can effectively teach English in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and NCERT textbooks. The candidate should develop students' language skills, communication abilities, reading habits, writing skills, and overall confidence in English.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons based on the CBSE curriculum and NCERT textbooks.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, literature, and communication skills.
- Develop students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and revision materials.
- Complete the prescribed syllabus within the academic schedule.
- Conduct regular class tests, assessments, revision, and remedial classes.
- Encourage students to participate in debates, discussions, storytelling, role plays, presentations, and other language activities.
- Develop students' vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence construction, and effective communication skills.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide appropriate remedial guidance.
- Monitor and maintain records of student attendance, academic performance, and progress.
- Analyse assessment results and implement suitable improvement strategies.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic and language development.
- Conduct and support reading programmes, creative writing activities, public speaking, and literary activities.
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings and communicate student progress to parents.
- Coordinate with other teachers and the Academic Coordinator for effective academic planning.
- Use digital resources and appropriate teaching aids to make lessons interactive and effective.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in school events, competitions, workshops, exhibitions, and other academic activities.
- Follow all school policies, academic procedures,



and professional standards.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English / English Literature or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE English curriculum and NCERT textbooks.

Experience

- 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and strong subject knowledge may also be considered.
