URGENT REQUIREMENT – GENERAL SURGEON

Qualification: MBBS with MS/DNB in General Surgery
Registration: Valid registration with State Medical Council/NMC as applicable

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled General Surgeon to provide surgical consultation, diagnosis, pre-operative and post-operative care, and perform surgical procedures as per the hospital's available facilities and scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct OPD consultations and evaluate surgical cases.
- Diagnose and manage general surgical conditions.
- Perform minor and major surgical procedures within the doctor's area of competence.
- Conduct pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up.
- Handle emergency surgical cases and provide appropriate initial management.
- Coordinate with Anaesthetist, Physicians, Gynaecologists and other specialists whenever required.
- Review investigations such as CBC, LFT/KFT, X-ray, USG, CT and other relevant reports.
- Maintain proper patient records, surgical notes, consent and documentation.
- Ensure appropriate infection-control and patient-safety practices during procedures.




- Participate in hospital rounds, emergency duties and on-call services as applicable.
- Follow hospital protocols, applicable medical regulations and professional ethics.

Preferred Clinical Exposure

Candidates with experience in:

- General & emergency surgery
- Appendicitis / hernia / piles / fissure
- Abscess and wound management
- Minor surgical procedures
- Laparoscopic procedures
- Trauma and emergency surgical management
- Pre-operative and post-operative patient care

Additional skills in Laparoscopic Surgery will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile

- MBBS + MS/DNB (General Surgery) from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical registration.
- Valuable clinical and surgical skills.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Experience in a hospital/multispeciality setup preferred.
- Fresh postgraduates with relevant surgical training may also be considered.

Compensation

Salary / Consultation Fee: Negotiable, based on qualification and experience.

For On-Call: Payment/Professional Fee will be mutually decided based on consultation, procedure and duty requirements.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
