Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive

Location: Chennai

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in financial operations, statutory compliance, payroll processing, and expertise in Zoho Books.

Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Management

· Preparation and posting of accounting entries.

· Preparation of Debit Notes and Credit Notes.

· Preparation and review of:

o Creditors Statements

o Debtors Statements

o Trial Balance

o Profit & Loss Account

o Balance Sheet

· Ledger scrutiny and account reconciliation.

· Vendor reconciliation and follow-up.

· Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS) preparation.

Payroll & Employee Compliance

· Payroll processing and salary accounting.

· Preparation and remittance of:

o Provident Fund (PF)

o Employee State Insurance (ESI)

· Employee-related statutory compliance.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

· Monthly TDS computation and remittance:

o Professional Fees

o Contractor Payments

o Rent Payments

· Quarterly Advance Tax computation and challan preparation.

· Filing of GST Returns.

· Online TDS Return Filing.

· GST compliance and reconciliations.





· Coordination with auditors and consultants during audits and assessments.

Billing & Receivables

· Raising GST-compliant Sales Invoices in Zoho Books.

· Monitoring receivables and collections.

· Customer account reconciliations.

MIS & Reporting

· Monthly financial reports and schedules.

· Support management in budgeting and financial analysis.

· Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits.

Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification

· B.Com / B.B.A (Finance) / M.Com / MBA (Finance)

Experience

· Minimum 2 to 3 years of accounting experience.

· Experience in GST, TDS, Payroll, PF, ESI, and statutory compliance is essential.

Technical Skills

· Zoho Books

· MS Excel (Advanced)

· Tally / ERP exposure preferred

· GST & TDS compliance portals

· Payroll processing systems

· Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
