Power BI Report Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that transform raw data into actionable, visual insights. The role blends technical expertise in Power BI with business understanding to deliver reports, dashboards, and data models that support decision-making.
They would be responsible for:
- Report and dashboard development
- Data Prep: They would need to know how to connect to various data sources, so sql knowledge, etc
- Data Modeling
- Integrations with other applications like NICE
Technical:
- Proficiency in Power BI (report/dashboards, data modeling, DAX)
- SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Power Query for data transformation
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and BI stack
