Job Description

BIM Modeler - Architect (Revit) is responsible for creating, developing, and coordinating detailed 3D BIM models for architectural components using Autodesk Revit. The role includes preparing Approval/GFC drawings, developing coordinated architectural layouts, resolving clashes, extracting quantities, and ensuring project deliverables comply with project specifications, client requirements, and BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate and coordinate the following Architectural layouts and models:
- Floor plans
- Reflected ceiling plans (RCP)
- Furniture and fixture layouts
- Door and window layouts
- Internal partition layouts
- Floor finish layouts
- Wall finish layouts
- Elevations and sections
- Architectural detailing drawings
- Roof layouts
- Façade and curtain wall layouts
- Architectural 3D views and presentation models

- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) layouts for Architectural works, including plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and 3D views.
- Develop and update Architectural BIM models based on design inputs, architect comments, and project requirements.
- Create and maintain architectural families, components, and project templates as required.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, schedules,



and coordinated construction documentation.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks and coordinate with Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and other disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support the resolution of interdisciplinary coordination issues.
- Extract quantities from BIM models and Navisworks for material take-offs (BOQ), area calculations, and project estimation purposes.
- Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), LOD requirements, client standards, local authority regulations, and project specifications.
- Maintain model accuracy, consistency, and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support BIM Coordinators, Architects, Design Engineers, and Project Teams during design development, coordination, and construction stages.
- Manage model revisions and updates and ensure timely delivery of project BIM deliverables.

Required Skills

- Proficient in Autodesk Revit Architecture, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Experience in Architectural BIM modeling and coordination.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows, standards, and LOD requirements.
- Understanding of multidisciplinary coordination processes.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, details, and design intent.
- Experience in creating Revit families, schedules, sheets, and project documentation.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
