Eligibility Criteria

- Educational Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council (INC) recognized institute/university.
- Regulatory Registration: Active registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) with the State Nursing Registration Council.
- Norms Compliance: Qualifications and teaching eligibility strictly as per applicable INC (Indian Nursing Council) and State Nursing Council standards.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical or teaching experience post-qualification is preferred; however, passionate freshers with exceptional academic records and teaching aptitude may also be considered.
- Core Competencies: Strong practical nursing skills, active listening, classroom management, and effective verbal and written communication.
- Tech-Savviness: Basic proficiency in using computers, PowerPoint presentations, smartboards, digital learning tools, and nursing simulation equipment.

Key Responsibilities1. Classroom Teaching & Instruction

- Prepare and deliver lectures, lesson plans, and interactive class activities according to prescribed INC unit frameworks.
- Teach foundational nursing subjects, anatomy, physiology, community health, and clinical nursing concepts to nursing students.
- Use modern audio-visual aids, presentations, models, and charts to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain a disciplined, positive, and inclusive classroom workplace conducive to learning.

2. Clinical Supervision & Practical Demonstrations

- Conduct practical demonstrations in college nursing laboratories (Fundamentals Lab, OBG/Pediatric Lab, Skill Lab, Anatomy Lab, etc.).




- Supervise student clinical postings in hospital wards, intensive care units, outpatient departments, and community health centers.
- Guide students in assessing patients, formulating nursing care plans, maintaining clinical logbooks, and performing procedures safely.
- Ensure strict compliance with patient safety protocols, infection control, and professional ethical standards.

3. Student Assessment & Mentorship

- Conduct regular class tests, practical examinations, unit tests, and evaluate student assignments and logbooks.
- Provide constructive feedback and remedial coaching to students requiring academic improvement.
- Serve as a tutor/mentor to assigned student batches, guiding them through academic, clinical, or personal adjustments.
- Maintain complete and accurate attendance, assessment records, and performance reports for each student.

4. Institutional & Administrative Support

- Assist senior faculty and the Principal in organizing college events, health camps, workshops, and extracurricular activities.
- Participate in faculty development programs, seminars, and Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) sessions.
- Assist with administrative tasks, clinical duty roster scheduling, laboratory inventory management, and university exam duties.
- Assist in preparing documentation required for council inspections and accreditation processes.
