Job Summary

The Healthcare Coordinator is responsible for coordinating patient services, ensuring smooth communication between patients, doctors, nursing staff, and hospital departments, and supporting effective patient care and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate patient appointments, consultations, admissions, investigations, and follow-ups.
- Act as a communication link between patients, doctors, nursing staff, and various hospital departments.
- Assist patients and attendants with information regarding hospital services and processes.
- Coordinate with departments such as OPD, IPD, Diagnostics, Billing, Pharmacy, TPA/Insurance, and Medical Records.
- Ensure timely completion of patient-related documentation and formalities.
- Monitor patient queries, complaints, and service requests and ensure appropriate resolution.
- Coordinate patient transfers, referrals, and discharge-related requirements when required.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and coordination logs.
- Follow up on pending investigations, reports, approvals, and other patient-related requirements.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies,



SOPs, and patient-safety standards.
- Support patient satisfaction initiatives and maintain professional communication at all times.
- Escalate critical or unresolved issues to the concerned HOD/Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, MBA
- 0–3 years of experience in hospital coordination, patient relations, healthcare administration, or a similar role.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Basic knowledge of hospital processes and healthcare terminology.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hospital/healthcare software.
- Ability to handle patients and attendants professionally, including during high-pressure situations.
