Job Title: Assistant Professor / Faculty – Painting

Department: Fine Arts – Painting

Location: Sudhowala, Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Employment Type: Full-time

Eligibility & Qualification:

· Master’s Degree in Fine Arts (Painting) or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.

· UGC NET/Ph.D. will be preferred/considered as applicable under the prevailing norms.

· Candidates with relevant teaching experience in Painting will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

· Teaching Painting and Fine Arts theory and practical subjects as per the prescribed curriculum.

· Conducting studio/practical classes, demonstrations and assessments.

· Guiding students in drawing, composition, colour study, Indian/Western art and contemporary painting practices.

· Maintaining academic records, lesson plans,



attendance and student performance.

· Participating in exhibitions, workshops, academic activities and Institional events.

· Performing other academic responsibilities assigned by the Department/Institution.

Skills Required:

· Strong knowledge of Painting and Fine Arts.

· Good practical/studio skills.

· Strong communication and classroom management skills.

· Ability to guide students in practical artwork and portfolio development.

· Knowledge of contemporary art practices will be an advantage.

Salary: As per qualification, experience and institutional norms.
