Senior Faculty Teacher

Job Summary

The Senior Faculty Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, supporting academic excellence, mentoring junior teachers, and contributing to the overall development of students and the school’s academic programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver effective, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons.

Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, assessments, and academic records.

Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.

Monitor and assess student progress and provide appropriate feedback and support.

Identify learning gaps and implement suitable remedial or enrichment activities.

Mentor and guide junior and newly appointed teachers.

Support teachers in lesson planning, classroom practices, and assessment strategies.

Coordinate academic activities and contribute to curriculum planning.

Maintain proper documentation of academic and student-related records.

Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress when required.

Participate in staff meetings, training programmes, workshops, events,



and school activities.

Follow school policies, procedures, academic standards, and qualified expectations.

Work closely with coordinators and school leadership to achieve academic objectives.

Take responsibility for assigned academic duties and provide leadership within the department.

Promote discipline, values, teamwork, and the overall well-being of students.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant subject.

B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.

Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong classroom management abilities.

Ability to mentor and guide other teachers.

Experience with CBSE curriculum is preferred.

Experience

5+ years of teaching experience, preferably with experience in handling senior classes and mentoring teachers.
