Job Summary

A science teacher is responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging science curriculum while fostering students' critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and passion for the natural world. Beyond standard classroom instruction, the role requires managing hands-on laboratory environments, analyzing student performance, and supporting overall student well-being.

- Curriculum & Instruction: Design, develop, and deliver lesson plans that align with state or national educational standards. This involves breaking down complex scientific phenomena into accessible concepts and integrating real-world applications to make learning relatable.
- Laboratory Management: Organize and supervise practical experiments, teaching students how to safely handle chemicals and scientific equipment while strictly enforcing lab safety protocols.
- Assessment & Tracking: Administer tests, quizzes, and practical evaluations to monitor student progress.



Teachers must use this data to adapt their instruction and provide targeted, constructive feedback.
- Pastoral & Administrative Duties: Act as a form tutor or student advisor to guide students' educational and social development. Additional duties include maintaining accurate attendance and grading records, enforcing classroom discipline, and conducting parent-teacher consultations.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree: A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. The degree should include relevant subjects (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, or Mathematics) depending on the specific science role.

For PGT (Teaching Classes 11 and 12):

- Master’s Degree: A Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in the specific subject you wish to teach (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology) with at least 50% marks.
- Education Degree: A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent.
- Education Degree: A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or an equivalent degree from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
