JOB DESCRIPTION – PATIENT CARE

ASSISTANTS

1 Patient Reception and Coordination Responsibilities

Assist in the investigation and verification of fee payments.

Record patient information (MR number, bill time, patient name) in the

distribution book.

Oversee the setup of patient rooms, ensuring proper instrument

arrangement and functionality.

Coordinate the handover of patients for surgeries to coordinators after

doctor consultations.

Collaborate with the Housekeeping team to ensure the cleanliness of

rooms and medical instruments.

Assist doctors by ensuring the timely provision of refreshments.

3 Patient File and Documentation Management

Collect and organize patient files from the billing department.

Maintain files for review and follow-up of patients.

Ensure that patient histories and relevant details are available to doctors

before consultations.





4 Patient Guidance and Coordination

Escort patients to the appropriate doctors.

Guide patients regarding required tests and procedures.

Explain the process for follow-up visits.

Act as a liaison between patients and doctors, ensuring effective

communication between medical staff and patients.

5 Staff Management

Maintain and manage PCA leave and attendance records.

Provide coverage for absent PCAs to ensure smooth operations.

Coordinate with staff to ensure productive completion of patient-related

tasks.

Pay: ₹15,175.95 - ₹17,982.91 per month
