District Coordinator – Roles & Responsibilities

The District Coordinator shall be responsible for district-level coordination, student progress monitoring, field-level implementation, stakeholder engagement, technical support, employer engagement and placement facilitation under the program.

1. District-Level Coordination & Single Point of Contact

- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) between the PMU, Training Partner, district-level government officials and other relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate and facilitate all district-level activities related to implementation of the program.
- Maintain regular communication with concerned district officials and ensure timely sharing of program updates, requirements and progress.
- Coordinate with the technical team for timely resolution of student-related technical issues.
- Ensure that instructions and activities assigned by the PMU are implemented at the district level.

2. Student Course Progress Monitoring & Follow-up

- Monitor the course progress, assessments, completion and certification status of all students enrolled from the district.
- Regularly contact all enrolled students through phone calls to check their course progress and participation.
- Identify students who are inactive or falling behind, understand the reasons for non-participation, and undertake appropriate follow-up.
- Motivate and counsel students to continue their training and complete the assigned courses.
- Remind students about assessments, assignments, completion requirements and certification.
- Inform students about the venue, date and time of workshops, job melas and other relevant program activities.

Technical & Operational Support

- Serve as the first-level support person for students facing technical issues while accessing the training application/ platform.
- Identify and facilitate resolution of issues related to login, registration, course access, learning content and other platform-related challenges, wherever possible.
- Coordinate with the technical team for issues requiring technical intervention.
- Follow up on unresolved issues and ensure that they are taken to closure within the required timeframe.

4. College & Training Centre Tie-ups – Hybrid Training

- Visit identified colleges, educational institutions and training centres within the district and meet the management, principal or authorised representative.
- Explain the program requirements and facilitate formal tie-ups/arrangements for providing suitable infrastructure and facilities to students opting for hybrid-mode training.
- Be responsible for the smooth conduct of training classes at finalized venues, including student arrival, venue readiness, coordination during the session and completion of scheduled classes.

5. Employer & Vacancy Mapping

- As directed by the Placement Expert, visit companies, industries, establishments and other potential employers within the district.




- Establish contact with employers and understand their current and upcoming manpower requirements.
- Map job vacancies matching the qualifications, skills and courses being pursued by enrolled students.
- Develop and maintain a district-level employer database and share updated information with the Placement Expert.
- Coordinate with the Placement Expert for employer participation in job melas and other placement activities.

6. College Workshops & Awareness Activities

- Visit colleges and educational institutions across the district and coordinate with management for conducting workshops
- Obtain necessary permissions and facilitate the use of seminar halls, auditoriums, classrooms or other suitable facilities.
- Coordinate logistics, venue arrangements and other field-level requirements for such events.
- Ensure timely communication to participating students and stakeholders regarding the schedule and venue.

7. Job Melas & Placement Activities

- Identify suitable colleges, institutions and other venues for conducting district-level job melas/job fairs.
- Coordinate with college/institution for venue arrangements.
- Coordinate with the Placement Expert regarding employer participation, interview schedules and other field-level arrangements.
- Support the Placement Expert in obtaining internship letters, offer letters and other relevant employment documentation from companies located in the district.
- Ensure timely communication to students and stakeholders regarding the schedule and venue of job mela

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
