Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Faculty member to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in higher education teaching and a passion for fostering student learning and success. This role involves engaging with students in a dynamic classroom environment, contributing to curriculum development, and utilizing learning technologies to enhance educational delivery.

Duties

- Develop and implement engaging curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Blackboard, to facilitate course delivery and student engagement.
- Conduct research relevant to the field and incorporate findings into instructional practices.
- Employ various learning technologies to enhance the educational experience.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive learning workplace.
- Provide academic advising and mentoring to students, supporting their academic journey.
- Design instructional materials and lesson plans that align with course objectives.
- Facilitate adult education sessions, adapting teaching methods to suit adult learners.
- Collaborate with faculty colleagues on instructional design initiatives and best practices.




- Maintain an active presence in the academic community through participation in departmental meetings and committees.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in teaching at the university level, with a focus on higher education pedagogy.
- Strong background in curriculum development and instructional design.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, particularly Blackboard.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and understanding their unique needs.
- Excellent classroom management skills with a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
- Ability to mentor students effectively and provide academic advising as needed.
- Demonstrated research capabilities relevant to the field of study.
