Job Description – BCA HOD

Position: Head of Department – BCA
Location: Jigani / Electronic City, Bengaluru
Experience: 5+ Years
Qualification: Master’s Degree or above
Salary: Up to ₹70,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the BCA academic department and ensure effective academic delivery.
- Plan and coordinate the BCA curriculum, timetable, examinations, and academic activities.
- Guide, mentor, and monitor faculty members for effective teaching and student outcomes.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus, assessments, projects, and academic documentation.
- Mentor BCA students and support their academic, career, internship, and placement requirements.
- Organize workshops, seminars, guest lectures, industry interactions, and value-added programs.
- Coordinate with management and other departments for smooth academic operations.
- Maintain academic standards and contribute to continuous improvement of the BCA program.

Candidate Profile





- Master’s degree or above in Computer Applications, Computer Science, IT, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant academic/teaching experience, with leadership or HOD experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of BCA curriculum and current technology trends.
- Excellent communication, leadership, coordination, and team-management skills.
- Ability to mentor faculty and students and drive academic excellence.
- Industry exposure, research experience, or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
