The MEP Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works across residential construction and turnkey projects. The role involves coordination between architects, structural engineers, interior designers, site engineers, contractors, vendors and clients to ensure that MEP works are properly planned, executed and completed as per approved drawings, project requirements, quality standards and timelines.

The MEP Coordinator will ensure effective integration of MEP services with architectural, structural and interior works while identifying and resolving site-level coordination issues.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. MEP Planning & Coordination

- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing requirements for residential projects.
- Review MEP drawings, layouts, specifications and related technical documents.
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural and interior drawings.
- Identify clashes and coordination issues before and during execution.
- Coordinate with the design and project teams for necessary modifications.
- Ensure proper routing and positioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other MEP services.

B. Site Coordination

- Monitor MEP work progress at project sites.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, contractors and technicians.

C . Drawing & Documentation

- Review and maintain approved MEP drawings and revisions.
- Coordinate with the design team for drawing updates and site requirements.




- Maintain records of MEP changes, approvals and site instructions.

D. Project Handover

- Coordinate completion of all MEP works before project handover.
- Prepare and track MEP snag lists.
- Ensure pending MEP works and defects are closed within the required timeline.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of relevant systems.
- Assist in preparing MEP-related handover documents and as-built information.

3. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

- MEP work completion within project timelines.
- Accuracy and coordination of MEP drawings.
- Number of MEP coordination/clash issues identified and resolved.
- Reduction of rework due to MEP coordination errors.
- Quality of MEP installation.
- Timely completion of MEP inspections and testing.
- Contractor and vendor coordination efficiency.
- Timely closure of MEP snags and defects.
- Material wastage and avoidable MEP losses.
- Successful MEP completion and project handover.

Requirements

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related engineering field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in MEP coordination or construction projects.
- Experience in residential / villa / turnkey projects will be an advantage.
- Positive knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC and other building services.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
