Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised HR Intern to support the HR team in day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement and documentation. This role will provide practical exposure to various aspects of HR within a growing social-impact organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Support the HR team in sourcing and screening candidates.
- Post job openings on relevant job portals and platforms.
- Coordinate with candidates for interviews and follow-ups.
- Schedule interviews and maintain recruitment trackers.
- Assist with candidate communication and documentation.
- Support onboarding activities for selected candidates.
2. HR Operations
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of HR documents.
- Support joining, onboarding and exit formalities.
- Assist in maintaining attendance, leave and other HR-related records.
- Support HRMS-related data management and updates.
3. Employee Engagement
- Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement activities and events.
- Support internal HR communications and employee initiatives.
- Help collect employee feedback and maintain relevant records.
4. HR Documentation & Compliance
- Assist in maintaining HR files, trackers and documentation.
- Support the HR team in preparing reports and HR MIS.
- Assist with documentation related to HR policies and processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organisational information.
5. General HR Support
- Coordinate with different departments for HR-related requirements.
- Assist with HR projects and process improvements.
- Support the HR team with any other administrative or operational tasks as required.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Sociology or a related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valuable organisational and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Prior internship or project experience in HR will be an added advantage.
