Career Advisor / Career Consultant – US Staffing

Job Summary

We are looking for a Career Advisor / Career Consultant to support our US Staffing operations by engaging with candidates and professionals, understanding their career goals and profiles, and connecting them with suitable opportunities in the US job market.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, an understanding of the US recruitment process, and the ability to build long-term relationships with candidates.

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with candidates and understand their skills, experience, career goals, job preferences, and availability.
- Provide career guidance based on candidates' profiles and suitable US job opportunities.
- Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, Dice, Indeed, job portals, databases, referrals, and professional networks.
- Screen candidates based on technical skills, experience, location, work authorization, availability, and job requirements.
- Explain job opportunities, job descriptions, compensation, contract terms, work arrangements, and recruitment processes to candidates.
- Coordinate with US Recruiters and staffing teams to identify suitable opportunities for candidates.
- Submit qualified candidate profiles against relevant US job requirements.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with candidates regarding submissions, interviews, feedback, offers, and joining.
- Assist candidates with resume/profile optimization to improve their marketability.
- Provide interview preparation and guidance when required.
- Maintain and update candidate databases, resumes, availability, skills, and work authorization information.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future requirements.




- Develop and maintain professional relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, submissions, interviews, selections, and placements.
- Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment/placement targets.
- Stay updated on US job-market trends, in-demand skills, staffing practices, and employment opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1–4 years of experience in US Staffing, US Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, Career Consulting, or Recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of the US staffing and recruitment process.
- Understanding of US work authorizations such as H1B, H4 EAD, OPT, CPT, GC, EAD, and US Citizen.
- Basic understanding of W2, C2C, 1099, and C2H employment models.
- Excellent communication, counselling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong candidate engagement and relationship-management abilities.
- Experience working with LinkedIn, Dice, Indeed, job portals, ATS/CRM systems, and recruitment databases.
- Strong follow-up and convincing skills.
- Ability to work in a target-oriented environment and meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Prior experience in US IT Staffing will be an added advantage.

Compensation

Competitive fixed salary + performance-based incentives, based on experience and performance.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
