WE ARE HIRING – SR. ENGINEER – PURCHASE (CASTING)

Saini Electrical Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Sr. Purchase Engineer to join our Purchase Department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Identify and source suppliers for various components, including castings, forgings, machined parts, steel castings, machine casting.
- To take quotations from supplier & preparing comparison sheets.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, lead time, and delivery reliability.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all casting components meet required specifications and industry standards
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely delivery and availability of components.
- Implement cost-saving strategies, such as bulk purchasing or long-term supplier agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and generate PO & reports on purchasing metrics, cost savings,



and supplier performance.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve supply chain issues and meet production deadlines.
- Visit suppliers as per requirements.

Skills to have:

- Proven purchasing or procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment focused on casting components.
- Robust understanding of casting processes (sand casting, die casting, investment casting, etc.), materials used in casting, and related quality standards.
- Experience with ERP software would be an added advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal teams.
