Key Responsibilities
1. Assembly Line Handling & Production Support

- Handle and monitor day-to-day operations of the electrical assembly line.
- Ensure smooth and uninterrupted functioning of the assembly line.
- Monitor line performance, production output, quality, and downtime.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores teams for smooth line operations.
- Identify and resolve electrical and technical issues affecting the assembly line.
- Ensure proper availability of tools, electrical components, fixtures, and other required materials.
- Monitor line balancing and support improvements to increase productivity.
- Ensure work is carried out as per defined SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Support new product assembly, line setup, and process improvement activities.
- Identify recurring line issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain proper records of production, breakdowns, rejections, and line-related issues.

2. Electrical Maintenance

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns and take corrective action.
- Maintain electrical panels, motors, pumps, control systems, MCCs, PCCs, and related equipment.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime through timely troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Maintain records of breakdowns, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.

3. Electrical Installation & Commissioning

- Assist in installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors during electrical installation and commissioning.
- Support electrical setup and commissioning of recent assembly lines and machinery.

4. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

- Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules.




- Conduct regular inspections of electrical equipment and assembly line machinery.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential problems.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurring breakdowns.

5. Troubleshooting

- Diagnose electrical faults in machines, panels, motors, sensors, and control circuits.
- Troubleshoot issues related to electrical wiring, starters, contactors, relays, breakers, and control circuits.
- Use multimeter, clamp meter, megger, and other electrical testing instruments.
- Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement permanent corrective solutions.

6. Safety & Quality

- Ensure compliance with electrical and industrial safety procedures.
- Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and other electrical safety practices.
- Ensure assembly line activities are carried out according to defined quality standards.
- Identify unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action.
- Support implementation of 5S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

7. Spare Parts & Inventory

- Identify electrical spare parts and maintain required stock levels.
- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase teams for electrical components and spares.
- Maintain records of electrical consumables and spare parts.

8. Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly maintenance and assembly line reports.
- Maintain equipment history and preventive maintenance records.
- Record breakdown analysis, downtime, production issues, and corrective actions.
- Maintain electrical drawings, manuals, SOPs, checklists,



and technical documents.

9. Team & Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, Stores, and Engineering teams.
- Guide and coordinate with technicians and operators whenever required.
- Coordinate with external contractors, service engineers, and equipment suppliers.
- Participate in continuous improvement and productivity enhancement projects.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and maintenance.
- Experience in assembly line handling and production support.
- Good understanding of AC/DC motors, control panels, MCC, PCC, starters, contactors, relays, MCB/MCCB, VFDs, and electrical protection systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of electrical testing and measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of PLC, sensors, automation, and control systems will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical safety and LOTO procedures.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and maintenance documentation.

Qualification

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or
- B.E. in Electrical Engineering
- 2–4 years of relevant industrial experience preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly line, plant maintenance, machinery, or industrial projects will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
