We are looking for a fundraising professional to support the Development Vertical in achieving its fundraising objectives. The role involves donor acquisition and relationship management, fundraising planning, proposal development, digital fundraising campaigns, project documentation, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication, fundraising, analytical and relationship-management skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Key ResponsibilitiesDonor Acquisition & Onboarding

- Identify and connect with potential donors for meetings and fundraising opportunities.
- Develop relationships with High Net-worth Individual (HNI) donors in India and abroad.
- Prepare project proposals and budget plans for donors and corporate sponsors.
- Coordinate the completion of MOUs and donor documentation.
- Coordinate with the Finance Team for donor payment acknowledgement receipts.
- Manage post-donation processes and ensure proper donor onboarding and due diligence.

Fundraising Planning

- Review learnings from previous fundraising plans and suggest improvements.
- Identify and target new donors, HNIs and sponsors for existing and upcoming projects.
- Prepare half-yearly and annual fundraising plans.
- Develop fundraising cycles based on donor contribution patterns.
- Develop strategies to leverage crowdfunding platforms and increase fundraising efforts.

Donor Relationship Management

- Maintain regular communication with donors and build long-term relationships.
- Facilitate donor visits and engagement activities.
- Keep donors updated about HEED INDIA programmes and activities.
- Submit donor reports and coordinate with relevant internal teams.
- Identify opportunities for continued and multiple fundraising engagements with existing donors.

Project Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare and share monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual reports.




- Prepare and submit Utilization Certificates and programme reports.
- Collect final reports from programmes for submission to funders.
- Develop project dashboards to monitor timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations for monthly, half-yearly and annual review meetings.

Digital Fundraising

- Design and develop fundraising campaigns aimed at increasing donor conversions.
- Develop strategies to build a continuous donor-giving cycle.
- Guide and mentor Management Trainees and Fundraisers.
- Support fundraising initiatives on platforms such as TATA Mumbai Marathon (TMM), Ketto and Give India.
- Work closely with the Communications Team to raise funds through digital communication platforms and social media.
- Maintain and update the Digital Fundraising Dashboard with current data.

Government-Funded Projects

- Support the organisation in identifying and connecting with relevant government plans and opportunities.
- Provide inputs and insights for proposals.
- Support recruitment for government-funded projects.

Requirements

- Graduate in any stream.
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in fundraising and/or marketing.
- Previous experience in the NGO sector is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust relationship-management and team-management abilities.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the Social Development sector, particularly Education or Health, will be an advantage.

Reporting

The position will report to the Director – Development Vertical.

Compensation

Fixed compensation as per industry standards, with variable incentives based on performance.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
