About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Accounts Manager to lead the finance and accounting operations for a premier 5-star hotel in Trivandrum. The ideal candidate will possess deep financial acumen, strong leadership skills, and hands-on experience in hospitality financial management, budgeting, internal controls and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee daily accounting functions, monthly closing, P&L; preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting in accordance with hospitality industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring accurate transaction processing, timely billing, accounts payable/receivable management, and audit readiness.
- Cash Flow & Budgeting: Monitor cash flows, prepare budget forecasts, variance analyses, and operational cost controls across hotel departments.
- Compliance & Tax: Ensure strict adherence to statutory compliances, including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and local hospitality regulations.
- Systems & Audits:



Maintain robust internal controls and leverage hotel ERP systems to optimise workflow efficiency and support internal/external audits.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 10 years of overall accounting/finance experience.
- Managerial Track Record: At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role leading an accounting team of Hotel or premium resort.
- Hospitality Background: Mandatory minimum of one tenure in the hospitality sector (preferably in hotel accounting).
- Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency in hospitality ERP software (e.g., IDS Fortune / IDS Next, Opera, or similar systems) and MS Excel.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance (B.Com/M.Com); CA/ICWA (min. Inter) is an added advantage.
