ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a hands-on Robotics Hardware Engineer to work on real-world robotics and automation systems. You will contribute across mechanical design, engineering analysis, electronics, controls, prototyping and system integration—from an initial concept through testing and iteration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Design and develop mechanical components, mechanisms and assemblies for robotic and automation systems.

· Perform engineering calculations and analysis to validate design strength, performance and reliability.

· Select and integrate sensors, actuators, motors, controllers, processors and supporting electrical components.

· Build, test and troubleshoot electromechanical prototypes, iterating designs based on test results.

· Support electrical/control-panel design, wiring, power systems and system integration.

· Ability to work effectively across mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines.

· Leverage AI tools for engineering research, design exploration and technical problem solving.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

· Mechanical CAD: SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or AutoCAD; 3D modelling, assemblies, engineering drawings and basic GD&T.;

· Engineering Analysis: FEA, static analysis and basic dynamic analysis; ability to interpret results and validate them using engineering fundamentals.

· Electronics & Controls: Fundamentals of sensors, actuators, motors, controllers and processors; basic control-panel design and electrical wiring.

· Power Systems: Understanding of DC power, voltage/current requirements, motor power, power supplies and basic electrical protection.

· Embedded & Computing Hardware: Exposure to Jetson devices and other embedded computing platforms used in robotics applications.

· Prototyping & Fabrication: Hands-on experience with assembly, soldering/wiring, 3D printing, machining or other prototyping methods.

· Component Selection: Ability to evaluate components based on load, torque, speed, power, operating conditions, reliability and cost.





· Engineering with AI: Ability to use AI tools to research technical topics, evaluate design alternatives, troubleshoot problems and improve engineering workflows.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

· 1–3 years of relevant experience in mechatronics, robotics, automation, mechanical engineering or a closely related field.

· Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.

· Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to connect theoretical concepts to physical systems.

· Experience with Jetson Orin or similar NVIDIA edge-computing platforms.

· Exposure to motors, encoders, motor drivers, PLCs or industrial automation hardware.

· Experience with 3D printing, CNC, machining or fabrication processes.

· Basic understanding of robotics system integration, electrical safety and machine safety.

ROLE FIT

We are looking for an engineer who enjoys solving real-world robotics problems across mechanical, electrical and control systems. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with a hands-on mindset, takes ownership of problems, and is comfortable designing, testing, troubleshooting and iterating until the system works.

Pay: ₹540,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
