DESIGN Engineer/ Head

Job Purpose

Responsible for developing accurate and production-ready designs, drawings, samples and BOMs as per customer requirements, while ensuring timely completion, quality, manufacturability and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate 2D/3D drawings as per customer and production requirements.
- Visit customers to understand requirements and collect product details, dimensions, samples, drawings and specifications.
- Develop suitable and practical packaging solutions based on customer requirements.
- Prepare samples/prototypes and coordinate customer-end trials.
- Modify designs based on customer feedback and trial results.
- Prepare and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) in Excel.
- Share finalized BOMs with the Costing Department for costing and quotation preparation.
- Ensure drawing accuracy, dimensions, specifications and material details before release.
- Handle design revisions, modifications and change control.
- Coordinate with PPC, Production, Quality, Costing, Purchase and Sales teams.
- Provide technical support for production-related design issues.
- Identify opportunities for material saving, design improvement and cost optimization.
- Ensure designs are practical, production-ready and cost-effective.
- Complete design,



sample and development activities as per customer/project/production timelines.
- Maintain proper drawings, BOMs, samples, specifications and revision records.

End-to-End Design Responsibility

Customer Visit → Requirement Collection → Design & Drawing → Sample Development → Customer Trial → Design Modification → Final Approval → BOM Preparation → Costing Coordination → Production Release → Production Support

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
