About the Role

We are looking for a Local SEO Executive / GMB Executive who is passionate about digital marketing and wants to build expertise in Local SEO, Google Business Profile (GMB), and Google Maps optimization.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of SEO, strong attention to detail, and an interest in improving the online visibility and local search rankings of businesses.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, set up, optimize, and manage Google Business Profiles (GMB) for clients.
- Optimize GMB profiles to improve local search visibility and Google Maps rankings.
- Conduct local keyword research and identify relevant search terms for target locations.
- Perform competitor analysis to understand competitors’ local SEO strategies and rankings.
- Create and manage GMB posts, services, photos, offers, and regular business updates.
- Manage local citations and NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistency across relevant platforms.
- Monitor and track Google Maps and local keyword rankings.
- Identify opportunities to improve local search performance and business visibility.
- Assist with basic on-page SEO activities, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and content optimization.
- Assist with basic off-page SEO activities, including link-building and local listing activities.
- Maintain accurate SEO activity sheets, tracking reports,



and performance records.
- Prepare regular reports on completed SEO activities, rankings, and local SEO performance.
- Stay updated with basic Google Business Profile, Google Maps, and Local SEO practices.

Requirements

- Fresher or candidate with 0–6 months of experience in SEO/Local SEO.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and Google Business Profile (GMB).
- Strong interest in Local SEO and Google Maps optimization.
- Basic knowledge of keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Good working knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Willingness to learn and work on multiple client profiles/projects.
- Candidates who have completed an SEO/ Digital Marketing course, internship, or practical project will be preferred.
