About the Role

Dream Byte Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of short-form and long-form video content and be able to transform raw footage into engaging, professional, and platform-friendly videos.

The candidate will work on social media Reels, YouTube videos, advertisements, promotional videos, podcasts, corporate videos, and client projects.

Roles & ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing

- Edit videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Edit long-form YouTube videos, interviews, podcasts, corporate videos, and promotional content.
- Create engaging videos from raw footage while maintaining proper storytelling and flow.
- Add transitions, effects, text, subtitles, music, sound effects, and motion graphics where required.
- Perform basic color correction, color grading, audio cleanup, and sound balancing.
- Create different video formats and aspect ratios according to platform requirements.
- Ensure videos are visually appealing, professional, and aligned with brand guidelines.

Creative Content

- Understand the brief and convert creative concepts into engaging videos.
- Create attention-grabbing hooks for Reels and short-form content.
- Follow current video trends, editing styles, transitions, and viral formats.
- Suggest creative improvements to make videos more engaging and effective.
- Edit videos according to client requirements and feedback.

Team Coordination

- Coordinate with social media managers, content writers, graphic designers, photographers, and videographers.




- Understand project requirements and deliver videos within deadlines.
- Make revisions based on internal and client feedback.
- Maintain organized project files and raw footage.
- Handle multiple projects and prioritize work according to deadlines.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of skilled video editing experience.
- Strong knowledge of video editing and storytelling.
- Experience creating social media content, especially Reels and Shorts.
- Good understanding of pacing, composition, transitions, music, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and creative thinking.
- Ability to understand and implement feedback quickly.

Software Skills

Experience with one or more of the following:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- DaVinci Resolve
- CapCut
- Canva

Knowledge of motion graphics and After Effects will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a digital marketing, advertising, media, or creative agency.
- Experience editing videos for multiple brands and industries.
- Knowledge of social media trends and short-form video formats.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and motion graphics.
- Understanding of YouTube video optimization is a plus.
