About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Associate - Revenue & Inventory Operations to manage hotel rate, inventory, and booking engine operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring that hotel rates, room availability, and related booking data are accurate, updated, and consistent across the platform. The position will also involve identifying data discrepancies, coordinating with technical and operational teams, preparing reports, and contributing to process improvements and automation. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, quality checks, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

- Verify and update hotel rates across the booking engine.
- Validate room inventory, availability, rate plans, and booking-related data.
- Identify discrepancies between source data and live platform data.
- Investigate and escalate rate, inventory, and system-related issues.
- Perform authorized backend data updates and maintain proper records.
- Coordinate with Operations, Revenue, Product, and Engineering/IT teams for issue resolution.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on rate updates, errors, discrepancies, and pending issues.
- Monitor data quality and identify recurring errors or operational patterns.
- Assist in testing system fixes, configuration changes, and recent features.
- Identify repetitive manual tasks and suggest opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Maintain SOPs, documentation,



and audit trails for important operational changes.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

1. Rate & Inventory Accuracy

- Accurate hotel rates and inventory maintained across the booking engine.
- Timely completion of assigned rate and inventory updates.
- Minimization of pricing and availability discrepancies.

2. Data Quality & System Operations

- Accurate and consistent backend data.
- Timely identification and correction/escalation of data issues.
- Proper documentation and audit trail of critical changes.

3. Issue Resolution

- Timely investigation and escalation of system and data discrepancies.
- Effective coordination with relevant teams until closure.
- Reduction of recurring operational errors.

4. Reporting & Operational Control

- Accurate and timely daily/weekly operational reports.
- Proper tracking of pending issues, corrections, and system-related concerns.

5. Process Improvement

- Identification of repetitive or inefficient processes.
- Contribution to workflow improvements, automation, and quality-control initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be evaluated based on:

- Rate Accuracy %
- Inventory/Availability Accuracy %
- Timeliness of Rate & Inventory Updates
- Number/Frequency of Data Discrepancies
- Issue Resolution / Closure TAT
- Error Recurrence Rate
- Daily/Weekly Report Accuracy & Timeliness
- SOP & Process Compliance
- Data Quality / Audit Accuracy
- Process Improvement or Automation Contributions

Specific KPI targets will be defined based on business requirements, system capabilities, and operational benchmarks.





Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in operations, data management, revenue operations, customer support operations, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working with repetitive data validation and quality-control tasks.
- Basic SQL knowledge or willingness to learn SQL/database operations.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet operational deadlines.

Preferred / Additional Skills

- Hospitality, hotel, travel, or OTA experience.
- Exposure to hotel booking engines, PMS, channel managers, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of hotel rates, room inventory, or revenue operations.
- Experience in data validation or software/system testing.
- Exposure to automation tools such as Zapier, Make, IFTTT, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of databases, APIs, or data synchronization.
